Few negotiations are more important or emotionally-charged as those concerning one’s own compensation. A few well—or ill—chosen words can substantially impact annual salary, employment benefits and future compensation trajectory. I am guided in my work by important “intangibles” such as integrity, transparency and honesty. They have served me well throughout my career.

I find that they prove equally effective with my clients, helping them come across as confident, not contentious, and allowing them to gain the upper-hand in negotiations that are among the most important they’ll face in their lives.
