Maximize your compensation without compromising the relationships that matter most.

“We created a win-win with my new employer where the ultimate outcome was about 3x what I was making in my previous role. It was incredible to have Ezra in my corner.” — WJ, CFO

Are you ready for the conversation?

Executive compensation is not determined solely by your experience or market value. It’s also shaped by how you navigate conversations about your expectations and how you respond when an offer is presented. Your answers during a negotiation can add — or cost — millions over the course of your career.

Experience on both sides of the table

As a former senior employment attorney with more than three decades of experience, including serving as Chief Human Resources Officer at Verizon and Senior Vice President HR at L(imited) Brands, I have been involved in hiring hundreds of senior and C-level executives.

What I discovered was striking: Many candidates were uncomfortable advocating for themselves, while others misunderstood their leverage.

Executive negotiation is different

Negotiating executive compensation is not just a financial exercise. It's seriously relational. Below the surface are powerful dynamics such as trust, cultural fit and internal politics. More than negotiating compensation, you are beginning to shape your future working relationships with the CEO, the board, investors, and your peers.

Taken for granted, casual negotiations will compromise your candidacy.
If you are prepared and purposeful, they will strengthen trust and increase your value.

I work for you

After years advising boards and senior leadership on executive compensation, I chose to move to the other side of the table to advocate for executives. My goal now is to help senior leaders negotiate with composure, confidence, and precision.

I specialize in executive compensation negotiation, public and private company compensation (including start-ups), and negotiation strategies for women and underrepresented minorities.

In every engagement, my approach is grounded in:

  • Deep knowledge of executive compensation structures

  • Firsthand and C-suite boardroom experience

  • Sophisticated understanding of negotiation psychology

  • A relationship-centered strategy that preserves goodwill

The payoff

My understanding of compensation mechanics and high-level negotiation dynamics will benefit you financially and position you for sustained future career growth.

Working together, we can maximize your total compensation package, including base, bonus, equity, sign-on, severance, and change-in-control protections, while ensuring every stakeholder feels positive about the outcome.
